Summer Free Hot Dog Lunches
Our church holds a free hot dog drive-thru lunch once a month during the summer. This free lunch is for everyone in the community and is an act of kindness and support to our surrounding community. Our hope is to bring a little joy and comfort to people and to continue to live our our mission statement…

fourth Tuesday Community Feast
The Sandwich-Somonauk Clergy Association initiated the 4th Tuesday Community Feast as a community fellowship for people who were lacking funds or companionship during the dreary
season of winter. Now the Feast has blossomed into a once a month year-round community gathering involving at least 6 churches with people waiting in line for each meal
to begin. While we are not the only church, our joy is that we have no problem having our members supply some of the food each month.
Music opportunities
We have several opportunities to engage in music at United Church of Sandwich.
Church Choir: Choir practices on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 pm. Choir sings 2-3 Sundays each month.
Chimes Choir: The Chimes Choir practices on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-6:45 pm. Chimes Choir performs one Sunday each month.
Special Music: We celebrate gifts of special music on several Sunday mornings each month. Church members, families, and guests perform through song and/or instrument.
